This is the standard fee for a consultation. Fees are independently set by the practice and are not based on the fees charged by other psychologists.
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) publishes a National Schedule of Suggested Fees each year. These are suggested fees only and psychologists are free to set their own fees.

Medicare Rebates
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate through the Better Access initiative if you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan or an appropriate referral from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician. Note these rebates are for our standard sessions.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We get it — life happens.
We just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or appointments you don’t attend, will generally incur the full $250 session fee.
Because no consultation has taken place, Medicare rebates can’t be claimed against missed or cancelled appointments.
Cancellation fees may be subject to GST in accordance with applicable ATO requirements.
In exceptional circumstances, the psychologist may choose to waive the cancellation fee at their discretion.
Our cancellation policy is provided before you commence therapy so you know exactly where you stand from the beginning.
